This was the best hotel on our trip. We had a balcony (great for drying our washed clothes) but no view. This hotel had the only double bed on our whole trip. Overall is was impeccable but the shower curtain had some questionable stains on it.

... for years of photos that I actually ended up taking myself which was a really neat experience. I wish I could have spent more time there, but alas, someday!

After our time in Oia, we once again boarded the bus and travelled to a nearby winery and were able to sample three different wines. They were quite tasty and the winery provided breathtaking views as well, also allowing us to see Oia furthest away ...

... do not remember coming this way last time. Rich mentioned that the taxis go throughout the centre of the towns and the buses have to go that way cause there too big. The sunset was amazing, we found a very quite location which served cocktails and food. Pauline and rich had a late lunch so we ordered drinks, the kids had a chocolate milkshake and I had a mojito, they are filled with mint, love it! We enjoyed a very relaxing ...

Today we had a morning at sea, so managed to do some shopping on board. Quite a few bargains to be had so we had to do it. The entry into Argostoli was very scenic, the port pretty. Argostoli is quite modern as it was heavily bombed by the Germans in 1943 , then suffered a major earthquake in 1953 . No ancient relics here. It has a ...

Santorini Santorini. I like it. It is calm and peaceful. Obvs touristy ... but I dunno. Different. Underdeveloped - too me. And I have seen Asia. I think the island is lovely though. The water is amazing .. breathtaking really. Can't wait to swim.

And the thing I love most ... there is this aura almost (is that how it is spelt) around the island and horizon. Like ... as if the world really ...

... from what I saw Kamari appears to be the cheap backpacker-ish area of Santorini. The beach has black 'sand' and it was soooo windy that the water looked really scary. The wind was creating really choppy big waves that were smashing onto the beach and into the rocks at the end of the beach. But if it had been a nicer day I think it would be an ok place to be (Naxos is still my ideal beach/water place so far).

      All along ...
