Day 5 : Winery, Fira, Firostefani, Imerovigli
Today we venture! We started out by visiting the Wine Museum at the Koutsoyannopoulos Winery also known as Volcan Wines. We learned the history of Greek Winemaking and the unique aproach to growing grapes on the island in Santorini. We had a tasting and learned about the specialty sweet desert wine of Vinsanto.
After the winery, we headed …

17th September – Wednesday Santorini
I did get some sleep between my coughing & the bed. My back is very sore & have asked for a different room. One is available later today. I've done some catch up with my diary & have also written a letter to Insight about the hotels on the tour. Too stuffed & sore to go …

ATV (4 –wheel all-terrain vehicle) was an option, but still wasn’t sure. Play it safe with a car? I was ...

This was the best hotel on our trip. We had a balcony (great for drying our washed clothes) but no view. This hotel had the only double bed on our whole trip. Overall is was impeccable but the shower curtain had some questionable stains on it.
