    After lunch we visited the Rasnov Citadel. Rasnov is a Transylvania village, the villagers back in medieval times built this defense fortress against possible Turk and Hungarian invasions.     Once I got settled into my room at Casa Iacob, I took a short nap and got refreshed. Naps are fine during travel as long as you set an alarm and keep it short. I find them helpful with combating jet lag. Alex at the hotel is so sweet and hospitable.

    ... last shift with the beautiful babies and then we'll be packing to leave on Saturday. Every minute has been an experience and we've got such amazing memories to treasure. Can't believe we've been here for 3 weeks- it's absolutely flown by!!!! We feel so safe and comfortable in Brasov and feel like we've grown up here haha!     ... phew it's the right choice. I leave the bus 200 m from the border post, I exceed the tail of the car without waiting, I give my passport to the border buffer, then I am doing likewise in Romania. As a pedestrian, you win precious time, 15 minutes for me, over 2 hours for the Ukrainian vehicles.I try hitchhiking, wait just 10 minutes, and a van from Latvia take me 7 kilometres tfurther to the town of Siret in Romania.
