... stop for me is Villa Carlotta which is a villa and a lovely garden. 9 euro. Back in the boat to Bellagio. Another beautiful town. I have lunch here. I have a buffet which is disappointing. You actually have to use a microwave to heat things if you want them hot. Didn't realise this to start with. You can go back 3 times (primo, secondi and dessert). Cost 15euro including a glass of wine. Back on the boat ...

... very beautiful. The flowers had mostly finished but even so it was lovely. Back on the ferry to Varenna, via Bellagio and walk to the train station. To get back to our station we need to go to Lecco and then change trains. Pierluigi kindly picks us up from the station again and we get take away pizzas for dinner. Phew what a day. But at least the weather was kind....it was a beautiful sunny day and we managed to see a very beautiful section of Lake ...

To canals area with huge number of bars with happy hour buffets for tea. Cocktail/wine/beer plus buffet fir ...
