nous avons dinner dans un resto sur la rue tres touristique qui relis le duomo au chateau... un petit diner leger avec lequel emilie a pris une coupe de vin blanc qui coutait le prix total de nos 3 dernieres bouteilles de vin!!

After walking back down to Como we caught the bus out to Belaggio which is at the furthest point on the lake. Town was completely dead. a couple of cafes and post card shops open and that was it!

Went to the famous La Scala, but we couldn't go inside as they werehaving a rehearsal at the time and unlike the Vienna Opera House couldn't get cheap standing tickets for a performance and wander freely around the inside at the same time.

... a car would pass me the weight of the groceries would pull my bike to the left, into traffic, so I was gripping as hard as I could to stay balanced. I was so wobbly and moving as slow as possible without just tipping over, and my back was killing me by the time I finally made it home, and I was laughing out loud the whole time. I had to have looked absolutely crazy. Why don't people believe me when I say bikes are just not my thing??

Strong reco ... it you are in Milan plan to watch a football match. Otherwise headout to a lake nearby in Alps and stay there for the night.

If none of this is possible, than please go to Milan before you head anywhere else in italy.It will make the trip better and more worthwhile.

... Florence has an amazing night life and there is always something to do each night. I try to cut down on partying so I can save money and calories for traveling. But I usually manage to get out at least once or twice during the four days I am here each week. There is a bar called "Faces" that has become the WORST MONDAY NIGHT PLACE EVER. Fifteen euros at the door will buy you an all can drink night at the bar. All you can drink is a very dangerous idea for a bar ...
