      ... nice part’ of Vilanova (the bit that we had read about on the internet etc), but unfortunately it had few redeeming features so we headed back home and clocked up about 8 miles!!

      Needless to say we have decided to hit the road again in the hope of finding a more traditional, scenic part of Spain…..i’m sure it’s out there somewhere!!!

      ... bought in Barcelona for 1 Euro, 40 cents - washed and reused and when filled with wine costs only 1 Euro, 20 cents. I like this kind of recycling :-)

      We've been talking about cutting this trip short and heading home. There had been horrific flooding in Spain when we were in France and now we are in Spain, there is severe flooding in France ! Worried about driving Miss Daisy home through France in November as previously planned . So we are heading home !

      ... high as the Leaning Tower of Pisa would have been if we'd been able to walk that! After a couple of hours there, we headed to another metro station to make our way to the Casino Barcelona which is very close to the Olympic site.       The futbol game was definitely one of the highlights of our stay in Barcelona.
      What a beautiful city and definitely not long enough to see it all.
      We really made the most of our short time here without exhausting ourselves too much.
