It was Magda´s birthday this Tuesday, her roommate organized a surprise party and I was invited to join in on the fun. It was great to be there and see the expression on her face when she arrived! She had actually been out calling her family in Poland and mentioned to me that in her hometown she always has a big celebration--she thought it was awesome that she could have a big celebration here too!
