... 3000m high. Most amazing view. Snow everywhere and it wasn't ridiculously cold, still had many layers on though. Had lunch overlooking the peak, then went into the mountain to the glacier. ... in Engelberg (a Swiss Ski Town), we took a horse & carriage tour around the town and visited a local dairy farm where we were also able to enjoy some fantastic local produce. Our hotel is great and has fantastic mountain views from the balcony, including a large ski jump. It's easy to imagine the town blanketed in snow and invaded by skiers & snowboarders. ... packed the first train up (so we had to wait for a second one at our connection half way up the mountain where it was freezing. Not racist...just annoyed.

... one bus per hour so this is going to be interesting. The bus arrives and they all try to push ahead of us and the older couple, very rudely. ... the highway and looped back to weave down the Aare river to this castle in the middle of Aarberg. The castle is stunning, as you can see by the pictures, but the river is also something to stare at for a long time. I couldn’t believe there were no people on this body of water except for one fly fisherman.
