... expected! We were able to throw snow balls and slide around on the snow! It was so awesome! Everyone had a great time! then we came back down the mountain and walked to the supermarket and got rolls, salad and ham and made yummy rolls! The food was way too expensive up at the mountain and still sooo expensive at the restaurants in town. we then relaxed for about an hour and got to go in the hot tub and sauna!! ... to the top you take 3 cable ways which ascend 2000m in total. with neither Brad nor I not liking heights we were a bit apprehensive when we saw how steep the first climb was but once you are on your up the surrounding scenery is so beautiful that you don’t give it another thought (they are enclosed cable cars we are just wissy). Luzern is a small, gorgeous city, right on the edge of the huge Lake Lucern, nestled between mountains, with a view of the Swiss Alps in the distance. Breathtaking. Our day here started with a cable car up to the top of Mt. Pilatus where we were 2100m up looked over Lucern, and across to the Swiss Alps.
