Engleburg - Oh My God

On top of Titlis
... and various individuals, it is fortunately a short ride to the next station, where we switch to a round cable car, the famous Titlis Rotair. It is pretty cool if you get to stand next to a window, as we did. The floor rotates as the car travels up or down the cables, so you get a 360 degree view of your pristine surroundings. We could even see the thick ice of the glacier poking out in places from beneath a blanket of snow.

Heidelberg, Strassbourg and Swiss Cheese
... told it should be another nice, clear day and around 23c so we may just be lucky again.
Today’s observations - glad the Swiss Alps are like Swiss Cheese - lots of holes through the mountains to drive through rather than having to drive up and around them.
And secondly, either we’re getting bigger or the bath towels are getting smaller, the further into Europe we go! Just thought you’d like to know ...
