After quite a warm night on the train, arrived in Kolomiya, a small town up in the mountains. Spent the day wandering around town in the rain, including a visit to an Easter egg museum, before heading back to our accommodation which is a gorgeous bed and breakfast on the edge of town. We had a cooking class (yes I know, me - cook?) where we learnt to make vareneki - little dumplings - in this case filled with mashed potatoes. AS for me, I would not recommend Poltava for visiting. There are places much better))). Actually I've never been to Western Ukraine mountain villages... I guess I need to. And I will go. My mom went to one ...
