We still had another hour before the last ferry (9.35pm) back to Marin, so we decided to catch the tram back down the quay. This was all part of our day pass and another mode of transport ticked off. The return ferry journey was uneventful and we got back to the RV about 10.30pm. After yet another full day we tried to get the blogs done but again were thwarted by the rubbish internet connection. Hope the next site has a decent set up or we will be almost a week ...

As we got out of that region and closer to the warf my primary realisation was that SanFran people must have good legs from walking the hills every day. Fishermans warf including pier 39 Set out in search of dinner and ended up trolling through all the tourist shops admiring some choice t-shirt prints. I was initially confused as to why all the shops sold ...

John and I woke up this morning after a good nights sleep, both of us did not realise how tired we were from the interrupted sleep of two nights on the train. We got ready slowly and even though my ankle was a little better it was still painful, I had iced it for awhile the night before even though the hotel provided me with strange ice packs it helped. We first went around the corner again to Roxanne's Cafe ...
