... the National League batting title twice and has one of the top lifetime batting average of any player in the history of the game. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the Smithwicks (which the bartender told me is pronounced Smidicks, Learn something every day.).

We commuted home and went out restaurant hunting. There was a nice Italian Restaurant close by with great pizza. A great way to end the day.

Our local area was relatively quiet, and thankfully didn’t see to much traffic. The only traffic that we consistently heard was the ambulances coming and going from the nearby hospital. We were fortunate enough to have a cute little coffee shop located on the corner of our block, a few convenient stores across the street and a short stroll to our local grocery store Trader Joe’s.
