    Had breakfast in conservatory. At 10.30 took part in the shuffleboard competition. Didn't do very well at all. It was a strange shuffleboard court.     We now have six sea days before we reach our first Caribbean Island of St Marteen. The swell was heavy when we left Funchal but few waves. Dinner was the usual too much food, mushroom pâté followed by red cabbage salad and then I had veal knuckle and then strawberry mouse without the chilli chocolate sauce! I had ice cream instead.     ... There bog type plants were really evident. Sort of like a Japanese garden in style. There was quite a bit of beautiful log sculpture around and a bronze sculpture garden. We didn’t get to walk through this garden because of so much rain, they were worried about a certain stability of a tree. But we saw some of them through the door of the entrance and along the path.
