Four weeks
Just four weeks to go and I just want to be settled on board with the real world, and Christmas , left behind. I still need to order money and am checking the exchange rates daily its still going up so hang on. If it starts to go down then I buy before it looses any more. What can I give this Christmas?
This year 6,657 Christmas shoeboxes were donated to The Trussell Trust for distribution in Bulgaria. This is another record and a reminder that there are a lot of you out there that really care about others much less fortunate than yourselves. If the children and adults who will receive the presents this year were able, they'd say a huge thank you to everybody who gave shoeboxes or their time to help sort them. It's really good ...
The last day
... wait for the taxi at 3.00 and on our way back. So that's it folks and blog watchers, another trip and our second blog. Must say we struggled to get the blog done each day as our time went so fast and opportunities to do it were not many. By the time we got back to the hotel in the evening it was late and after a full day sight seeing and walking the large sumptuous bed was calling!! Winchester and Salisbury
... another Christmas market (these are Christmas themed crafts market with some food stalls essentially). Explored the town a bit before seeing the great gothic Salisbury Cathedral, which must have one of the greatest spires in England. We did not go in though as there was a service about to start. We walked back into the town centre to a Tesco's for groceries, and back to the YHA to cook up some pizzas and vegetables for dinner. Made our beds and showered. Played cards and went to ...
