... there way to the top. ( a shame that I can not take photos as I ride) From the top of the pass you get a stunning view of the road snaking down the other side of the mountain. Photos can not do justice to this view. You have to be there to appreciate the 3D perspective of what you are seeing. I will always remember standing at the summit of this pass and will regard it as one of my life achievements. To a motorcyclist this is the ultimate twisty road. You are not ...

Then we orientated ourselves for tomorrow's train trip at various times, checking out the station, loos and elevator ...

Or here is a challenge for anyone that is reading this .... make a donation to the riders from Powell River Suncoast Cycles that are riding the The ride to conquer cancer, one dollar for each Kilometer Leslie and I do tomorrow. Place your guess in the ...

... put them both together for the Granfondo. We are not doing the full 136k route, just the shorter 105 k, which isn't just shorter, it avoids the nastiest climb. Today's big climb was tough enough ... Just went on and on ... No flat spot, nothing under 4% and peaked at 12% I think. Was cursing to much to look to closely at the bike computer. Scenery was amazing, sorry only got a couple ...
