          ... able to figure out that she was trying to tell me the kitchen was closed at that time. I went back to my hotel and asked to lady at the front desk about this and learned most kitchens in Italy are only open from noon tell 2:00pm and then closed until 6:00pm. As someone who typically eats lunch a little later in the day this was going to be something I would definitely need to stay mindful of over the next couple weeks.
