Shorter driving days now we're virtually in Southern Spain, so we were in Benidorm by lunch. Saw our first Big Black bull on the side of the road. There are loads around, but that’s the first we’ve seen this trip and Penny has them on her mind as she’s just been reading about the Brandy factory and the Bulls used to advertise it (think we’ll be visiting and sampling some when we get to Cadiz).

... We could see into it a little, although the iron gates were across the entrances. Inside, the sun fell bright on the sand that a maintenance worker was raking. There is a museum connected to the bull ring, the Museo Taurino, a smallish two rooms, on the second floor of an adjacent building. There are bulls heads stuffed and mounted in the stairwell along with at least a dozen small paintings of bulls.
The main room of the museum is filled with rows of glass cases, shrines ...
