... Athene International Airport and fly back to the countries where we came from. Also in the way back I could not fly together with my girlfriend, but at least I did not had to wait 7 hours, but 'only' 2 hours in Zürich to get back to Düsseldorf.

Overall it was a very nice holiday that I think we got the most out of from the available time. Next time I would definitely want to visit one of the bigger islands in Greece, because that's where the country shows the best side. ...

I can't remember seeing anything peaceful or even recognisably biblical. I suppose this helped one get through the daily drudgery of monastery life.

On our adventure to meteora we decided to take a back road instead of back tracking to Katerini. This worked out in Danny 's favor as he got to drive windy roads around the mountains. Sometimes I believe he thinks he's a race car driver and my last view is going to be us flying over the guard rails.
