... Rottnest Express, more like a small cruise ship. We took the bus from the port to the town of Thera and walked to the village of Karteradhos where we stayed. We got a bit lost (not much), and got very hot. Check-in, shower, nap (there's not much to add there). We then headed to Thera (Fira) for a delicious dinner and beautiful sunset. So heavenly to have all afternoon to talk about our dreams, what we worried about and our hopes for the future of our family. The sailing from Mykonos to Paros was uneventful; there was no wind so we motored the whole way. It took around four hours before we slid past the anchored Greek frigate that was in the bay not more than a half kilometer from the shore. Beyond which lays the small town of Naousa and with it's by now familiar splash of whitewash and blue that is so Greek. The marina was small but well protected from most winds. Kathie and I made short work of stern berthing Orca, although ...

... she knows it's a bit cooler than the pool from the evil grin on my face. A little cooler still makes the water temp around 26 degrees. We are here for the next 2 days so time to swim a little, explore the coast a little and recharge the batteries. At 3:30 am I am woken up to Shelley saying "something's in the bed, I have just been bitten". I think she said kill the bloody thing was as well, but I was only 1/2 awake. As I spring into action ready to kill a large mossie or the like, my ...
