Beautiful Pokhara
We arrived in Pokhara on Monday 8th after an 8 hour local bus journey from the border. the driving was crazy and we saw 3 accidents on the way. luckily we were ok. we arrived in Pokhara at around 6pm, arrived at our hotel and thought we were in heaven! lovely place, really friendly staff and no more buses!

La route serpente et cahote depuis Bandipur. Par contre, au loin se dessine les sommets de l'Annapurna. Tous aux aguets, nous guettons les cimes enneigées.
Pokhara. Le point de départ du trek. 6 jours en montagnes, avec des paysages Himalayens.
Repos ce soir. Souper Népalais et sommeil du juste.

I'm finally in Pokhara. I finished up my orphanage program, which was sad because I really got attached to the kids. After my program ended, I went bungy jumping into this gorge that was 160 meters. Day 19: Tatopani to Pokhara (5/10/10)
Leaving Tatopani, we had come to a crossroads of sorts; at this point, you have two choices-climb over 1700 meters (over a vertical mile or 5,610 feet) to the next village of Ghorepani, or take a combination of buses to get back to the town of Pokhara, considered the 'end of the line' for the Annapurna Circuit.
