... next morning we're up early for our trek, we pack all our clothes and water into our 2 small bags and off we go. Little did we know, trekking in the jungle is all up hill and downhill there are very few flats, so we start up some stairs and we start sweating pretty quickly. ... the ranger was waiting with some bananas (and incidentally was also trying to fend off a persistent and cheeky macaque - who also knew the drill and had dipped his little grey furry hand into the ranger's rucksack holding the bananas and took a small bunch.
