    At four thirty in the morning, my mom drove my to Landvetter airport. We said a last goodbye and not long after I was on a plane to Frankfurt. Usually when you fly to a new destination, you are one or only a few people arriving at the same time with the same flight.     ... for things like roads and emergency services. But on the other hand, enjoying natural beauty in a five-star resort kind of feels like cheating. And obviously an iguana's natural habitat is not next to a chlorine pool, but it seemed to be enjoying itself. Not the picture-taking, but the sun part, at least.

    Thought I might dine, Peter, at the Sanborn's for old time's sake but it was pretty packed very early. Decided on a quick sandwich and water at a 7-11, eating same near the Palacio de Bellas Artes before heading back to update the diary, download the day's pix and chill.

    Roommate Sarky from London in after 1430. He's originally from Bangladesh. I think we'll get along. He didn't seem too fussed about missing the group meeting. ...
