    ... I need to leave my room early and he says no problem. I wander back to my room and start thinking about how to pack, go to the pool and enjoy my final few hours. Then the doorbell rings and its Nathan - they need my room even earlier- so he stays to start my packing. I'm so not fussed about where things go as long as they all get in - and that I've left out clothes for the plane and hand luggage.  Nathan doesn't find this daunting ...

    ... to a local cenotes. Cenotes - underground rivers - make excellent swimming pools and nearby Gran Cenotes was particularly brilliant. This time we hired snorkelling gear as you can see all the way to the bottom of the cave. It feels like you're floating over another world when you look down.     ... swim so close to you, we also saw a sea snake and a shoal of sardines. The reefs at the bottom are incredible, just like you see in pictures with lots of weird and wonderful brightly coloured corals and other odd looking plants!
