Well it wasn't the best night's sleep that's for sure, but it could have been worse!

From the station in Malang we battled our way through the taxi drivers and walked to a local tour company called Sunrise Holidays who had good reviews on Lonely Plant and TripAdvisor...

We've booked ourselves on a full-on three day tour around Mt Bromo, Mt Ijen and the turtles at Sukamade. It's a fairly expensive at around $350 per person, but we reckon it will be way easier than trying ...

... bright blue with a huge red beak. On the last night we moored up next to a palm which was covered with Fireflies, they were really cool to watch. Whenever Will tried to catch one they just turned their light off. We had an amazing couple of days in the jungle, despite being covered in insect bites. It was great waking up and going to sleep to the sound of the jungle and seeing all the wildlife. It is definitely one trip we won't forget.
