My iPhone had fueled my entire trip with pictures, helpful maps, and internet connection, but now it was gone forever. We gave up on the night and just went to sleep. (That was just painful to relive...)

Saturday, Alec was coming into town all the way from Munich! So, Gavin and I headed to the train station to drop him off on his train and pick up Alec ...

... made at some point in the 80s (judging by hairstyles) about a load of tourists being bemused by just how **** the Mannequin Pis really is, including the classic quote "I expected bigger..." "What, the cock or the boy?" At least the Belgians can take the **** out of themselves. See what I did there?

The rest of my time in Brussels was spent either wandering the streets, reading, drinking in the hostel or getting royally ...
