    ... the inside. I'm pretty confident I liked them better than Italian gelato! If I studied here, I'd be in big trouble.
    Next, we continued to the train station. Because we weren't exactly sure where to go and what ticket to buy, I asked a conductor and he was extremely friendly and helpful. And again, we were on our way!
    Brugge was beautiful. It was a little chilly today, but the weather was exactly like fall at home. The streets of Brugge are cobblestone streets ...

    ... So I don't make eye contact, mutter "I'm fine thank you" and start walking off.
    But then I look up to see two very sweet looking men in their 70s smiling at me.
    They point at the map I have been staring at and offer directions.

    I want to hug them.I don't. But I want to.

    They are just nice people trying to be helpful and friendly to a stranger. What a relief to be in such a place again.

    ... previously and there was even traffic jams. That's where everyone in Belgium is! As I was coming into Leuven the sign for the town said "*******", so I wasn't sure what to expect ;) There was also graffiti of lego men on their signs, so someone is a comedian. Leuven is a university town. Although it's not massive there are 40,000 students and the quality of the university and the town is similar to Cambridge. With more bikes.

    After our last couple nights in Switzerland we said our goodbyes to Marcus and Dad then jumped on the train and traveled from Bern - Zurich - Brussels which took 5 and a half hours.
    Found our hostel and crashed for the night.
