... at a local pub that had these old guys playing straight pool and waited for Tim to come find us.

Once Tim showed up we took a walk to his house. The city streets were very active. Leuven has small town feel and charm combined with a very active nightlife, cheap food and beer and really friendly people. In Brussels French was the main language, but in Leuven it is Deutsch. ... it 4 1/2 out of 5 stars!). The on board meal was fantastic. Those of you that I spoke to before I left will be surprised with what it was. One of my favorites....curry!! Yum. Please contain your laughter. Even though I had the empty seats, I only managed to get a couple of hours sleep. The time difference is 6 hours ahead in Europe.

... literally the entire menu for me. Wound up getting a caesar salad that was served in one of those cheese cups that Adriana made the team. Ah so good! The next time, Yulia took me to a Moroccan place where we had kebabs, but not the kind on a stick. It's like in a pita or wrap, kinda similar to a gyro except with some sort of flavored chicken. I made sure to have my friends on the program go to another Moroccan place in Leuven to try these out.

So that's work so far!

... gentleman's agreement to look the other way. Apparently this is one of a handful of cities in Belgium with such an area.

Later in the week Bjorn picked me up after work for dinner and we ventured to Mechelin, another smaller city near Brussels.
