... books on shelves in library. The reason for that is to prevent walls being collapsed by the earthquakes. It gave the wall some flexibility. Amazing technology for the people who did not have access to the modern technology, right?

Next place we went is the Park of Love. We saw a lot of beautiful artworks made with mosaic; those artworks were donated by people of Peru. The spot was considered to be the ...

I ran around the golf course, showered, ate breakfast and then got to cooking. As an exceptionally impatient individual, I had to have everything well prepped for my own peace of mind. I suggest the queue was about 1000 metres long winding its way backwards and forwards across the front and down the side of the church building. ...

We flew from Quito to Lima in the evening and were met by a driver sent by the hostel we staying at. It was an interesting drive, our driver seemed not to follow any road rules at all! We´ve experienced crazy drivers but this guy was something else. We made it to our hostel in one piece though! We chose to stay in an area of Lima called Barranco. It´s very bohemian and is home to many of Lima´s artists, photographers and musicians. Many of the ...
