      ... he said he was going to be on the same bus, but he never showed up. I ended up getting a text from him when I was already in Lima to say that his travel agent had put him on another bus. Ah well.

      I finally arrived to my hotel in Lima late that same night. It had been another long, exhausting travel day, and it would not be the last. I had a lot of ground still to cover, hoping to make it to Bolivia as well as southern Peru in the next weeks. But first there was a lovely bed, that was not rocking from side to side.       ... problem was when we got there they were full, but at least the guy was helpful in finding us another place, even though he was clearly high. We made our way to Mira Flores which is by the coast and a much nicer area and checked into the Puri Wasi hostel.
