... well have been, but to me and millions of others all around the world, he was a genius.

The draw of the Pyrenees has always been pulling me, and as it’s now starting to get stifling hot and busy on the coast it seemed like a good time to get in and have a look. About 300km but we knew the last part of the roads would be windy and slower so we gave ourselves 5hrs for the trip. The Motorway through Toulouse and down to Tarascon was fast and efficient. We stopped their for lunch as it was a beautiful town right between the cliffs at the start or the Pyrènèes. After lunch ...

... the other side of the town, and saw the huge Caldera spa, a huge shard of glass pointing into the sky, before heading back towards the old part of town and eventually my bus back to Barcelona.

The town isn't very big, and so it didn't take long to see it, but it was a fun experience, and if you love mountains, skiing or luxury shopping then it's worth the visit.
