I spent the next two days engaged in about the closest thing to a beach vacation I'd spend in the Dominican Republic with two daytrips from Samana town to other parts of the Peninsula. On Sa*************ed northeast to Las Galeras, a sleepy beach town near its northeastern corner. A short distance away lies Playa Rincon, said to be one of the two or three most beautiful beaches in the Dominican Republic. Playa Rincon is certainly quite remote and ...

towns. The scenery was quite varied from the open cattle country in the south

After many tears, we left Nagua around 1:00 and headed to Santo Domingo. We arrived safely and have spent the rest of the evening hanging out and playing cards. After many hours in the son working and building relationships, it was good to take a break for a while. We will be headed out first thing in the morning to do some sports ministry and sight seeing before checking into the hotel for the last leg of the ...

... us to the video music. Hailey Hawks read the children the bible story in Spanish. She did a great job and we were very proud of her. Ali incorporated a lesson using disappearing paper and how when we confess of our sins, God wipes them away never to be hear of again. The water she used represented a cleaning of our hearts that only God can do. I followed Ali's lesson with the plan of Salvation. When I asked children ...
