... Timisoara, but it's not cheap and a bit of a challenge because we only drive automatic cars. So far in our experience in Europe and certainly Romania, automatic cars are the exception rather than the rule. Instead, we will take the six and a half hour train ride early tomorrow to Sibiu. ... our driver wasn't as insane as the one that brought us from Sarajevo, but perhaps because of that, our journey took far longer than the expected three hours, though we suspect that GEA purposely underestimates the duration, in order to attract customers. Highlight of the day for me was at the Hungary/Romania border, got asked for the bike docs by a Romanian border guard, I gave him an A4 receipt from the hotel in Brno (Written in English) he had a good look and than passed it back with a cheery "Thanks"

So that was a bit of a ‘waste’ of a day, but it ended up alright in the end. I will get to Budapest on Monday so that I can get to Bratislava by Monday evening. After I left the church, I headed towards this 'fresh market.' It's basically an open air market where I ended up buying 1/4 kg of strawberries that looked absolutely amazing (the ones in the grocery stores have been looking pretty bad). It was cool to see - there are at least a dozen of these markets all of over the city too. One thing I will say for Belgrade - it is not a tourist town. It is still a living ...
