Great to see Peter Bishton and Bernard Bolt for two days. A very long breakfast at Gargarou. I think it lasted until about 2.30pm. Is that a record? In the evening we join other friends in Charakopio for another fantastic concert from french jazz/folk/blues quintet Troupa Soui. This time upstairs at Iannis and Foulis' taverna. Quieter concert this time with extremely dodgey sound system in the taverna and not as many people as Sunday. Never mind. Great ...

As soon as we let them off the leads they run straight into the sea. If we are swimming they make little excursions out to join us. If I swim parallel to the beach King will swim along beside ...

After a kilometer of this, the gorge widened, and we took a side path to the monastery, the tiny sanctuary of which has an interior covered in frescoes, damaged but actually in remarkably good shape. Perhaps one day some archaeologist will remove them to a museum, but we got to see them in the monastery. As we climbed out of ...
