... the word 'mezze' before it is the Greek word we use for something similar to what is Tapas for the Spanish. In reality imagine a variety of appetizers coming in smaller than normal portions. We Greeks usually accompany our mezze with Ouzo, or Tsipouro. Of course depending on one’s preference mezze can easily be paired with a chilly glass of beer or wine.

Out here, we paired our meal with the 1827 dry white wine Costa Navarino.
