Bought fresh bread and saw the coolest thing. You can buy a whole slap of dripping honey comb straight out of the beehive from the local shop. As in the whole wooden draw thing. Very tempted but we have already have had a watermelon, a carton of milk, a carton of juice and some medicine leak in the car so far. Honey would just be a nightmare! ...

... was sweating but felt good. It was enjoyable route.

Had lunch by the river, rest then we were ready to go. To Giresun where the hotel was waiting for us.
Arrived there, ah thank goodness for lift...I was too buggered to carry luggage up the stairs. This given me an opportunity to note that Turkey is bit up to date with the modern technology. It appeared I was right.

... and after a fair bit of ******* around eventually found a place, got changed, ran a comb through the facial hair and hit the town - Saturday night in Ordu... look out! Unfortunately it was without doubt one of the 'drier' places we'd been to, although there was a restaurant on the cable car hill with a view of town... good place to wet the palate.

... Black Sea Coast. Definitely a vast improvement on the beach we saw at Sinop, (whose sand you couldn't feel for all the trash beneath your feet), a great lunch of Köfte's (barbequed meat patties) on Çaka Beach was finished off with a refreshing dip in the sea.

... to be raining torrentially and I don't think the honks or lights flashing I received were friendly!! Became quite unnerved and decided to check into a hotel. Enough is enough!!

Also in Turkey, it's not uncommon for cars to be driving on the shoulder against traffic to get to a road they've missed or just so they don't have to go all way around the legal way!! Surprising and scary! Especially if I'm off in my own little world.

This is just like golf...
