    The 19 hour bus from Mendoza to Salta wasn't as hideous as I expected. We arrived at 7.30am and I woke to the driver shaking me and yelling at me in Spanish. I quickly jumped off, hoping I had arrived in Salta. I originally planned to spend three days in Salta. After deciding to enrol in Spanish lessons, the three days became five.
