... late October. Tomorrow, we head to San Gimignano in the heart of Tuscany. Only an hour south of Florence, we will be spending the next week there as a base to explore the region and its bounty. Weather is predicted to be sunny and low 70s, we are truly blessed.

Hmmm what happened today? Oh! Today was the day of terrible food choices. We started our morning off with sampling the grapes in the vineyard we woke up in, they were fermenting on the vine - bad choice. Kory came back from his morning 'stroll' excited to show me that there were black olives growing in the area! He hands me a few and I instantly chomp into them - bad choice.
