... Every year the event is celebrated during the feast of Corpus Christi.

Pitilgliano lies just west of Lake Bolsena. As you drive up to this beautiful hill town, you can see the ancient aqueducts from the Roman era still standing. The town sits precariously on the mesa and juts straight up from the rocky mountaintop. The walls of the town quite literally go to ...

... and staring at the lighthouse torch, spinning its way thru the darkness. The water was choppy, but not bad... It was just cold. The more I watched what was going on.... It dawned on me... We are not heading North. Why are we going Southeast. Quietly, and curiously, I asked Marina. "Good for you, Robin. Yes, we are going SE for the moment. Getting away from Ponza, can sometimes be very difficult, Ponza is always difficult, and has very rough ...

Natural unspoiled hot spring. Free for the taking. Tiered layers of hot springs and waterfalls.
    Mostly Italians there. Delightful.
