    We Take some Bum Advice But Enjoy Our Day in Siena Nevertheless!

    Although I think Siena is very beautiful, on this particular day, we had a car for the week and had wanted originally to go to Montepulciano instead and we let ourselves be talked out of Montepulciano in favor of Siena.     ... did find two of the (many) basilicas, crossed the Piazza probably ten times, including a stop there for lunch. You can buy a Peroni for one euro, great value.
