      ... people we met along our journey, the consensus was for us to leave our car behind and jump on the city bus. For 3€ each way, we could avoid traffic, avoid finding parking and enjoy the scenery. After confirming the departure time with our hotel and being told we could pay cash on the bus, we set out.       ... turtles. The kids did all right but the churches and carvings lose their attention after a while. Also climbed one of the towers in town to get a view of the pretty countryside. Today we rented bikes and went for a short ride. I think we'll try to go again, as it was inexpensive and an easy way to see more. It rained and we were in some busy areas though, so next time I'll try to get better route advice and wait for sun. ...

      ... in Florence just before 11 p.m. and walked back to our lodging. Fortunately, it didn't feel too late to be out and about on the street. It was lively in a comfortable, respectable way.

      I was right. Worst nights sleep ever. Up shower and out by 8am as i cannot stand another minute in the sauua that was that room.
      We have brekkie and do some computer stuff (internet is free for as long as you like but the USB ports dont work so no pictues yet folks......)

      We go back to the leaning tower. We have stepped into a circus. People everywhere. Tour groups and all that. Think Big Ben and Parliment Square in London.
