... again by one of the taxi drivers that had managed to break away from his discussion group. He demanded we get in and when I asked about the price, he had increased it. Hmmmm, no f**k head, normally when the customer walks away the only way you will win them back is with a cheaper price. This guy clearly failed the 101 negotiating tactics at taxi driver TAFE.

After we finally arrived at the apartment we unpacked and hit the streets, eventually we came to a nice ...

After we crossed the border we drove through very rural areas which was really different from Greece we had left behind. We caught the train back to Bar (for free as the ticket office was closed and no one asked us for a ticket on the train). Since we had some spare time, we decided to catch a local bus up to the ruins of Old Bar (Stari Bar).

The ruins were very impressive (and surprisingly cheap at 2 euros), standing on top of a hillside some 4km north of ...

... the checkpoint, where he seemed to know everyone and sped us through immigration, where we got another soviet looking stamp which unfortunately didn’t have the cool eagle that makes up the Albanian flag.

He dropped us off to Shkodra center and luckily we were beside a tourist office so we popped in. apparently the hotel behind it was the cheapest accommodation in town, which was surprising as that honour usually ...
