... way up to the Church of our lady (Onze Lieve Vrouwekerk – I won’t even try to pronounce it). Being the picture perfect town that Bruges is, everything was like it should have come out of a storybook. We enjoyed watching the horse drawn carriages roll down the cobbled streets as we sat drinking in one of the city’s many bistros.

I spent one night in Kortrijk at my Grandmothers apartment she lived before being moved to the retirement home.

... warmth, hello rain. But allow me to reflect on my last days in Amsterdam. Yesterday morning, we ventured to the Rijksmuseum, or as I like to call it, Rumplestilskin. I found the latter easier to say. Once again, my energy level dragged upon entering the museum, but I persevered. The first floor of the museum offers a lot of Dutch history.
