... Navarette about 8km from Logrono. By 9 we were only on outskirts, through that big park area and the sun was setting. We were heading into countryside but it was really too late to walk further. A lovely Spanish lady out walking her dog rang a taxi for us. Arrived in hostel El Cantaro 9.30. Room crammed with 6 bunks. Smallest room on Camino so far. Not much sleep, people up and about all ...

We watched the surf competition, marvelled at European parking, went for bike rides and enjoyed the ...

... past a garage. Only one person there spoke English (he was just passing by at the time) and was able to translate our problem. An hour later we were all fixed and were able to enjoy a peaceful evening at our amazing FREE campsite for the night which was right by the beach. The following morning I spent some time surfing but even the waves were to small for me!! (It was basically a lake) We then spent the rest of our morning bike riding around the incredibly amazing hills which ...

We took a photo of their apartment, sampled some of the delicious churros at the popular El Timon churreria that was just a few steps up the road. It all felt quite familiar.
