    ... i attracted the attention of a really gross, annoying stray puppy who was really keen to play. I sent him to jenny in the water who splashed around with him till he started chasing her then she tripped and fell on her face which was hilarious.

    We changed and hopped on the city bus to check out Castle just out of town. The bus got to our stop, the driver yelled out to us as he barely slowed down to let us off. Castillo Piria is a big tourist attraction in town ...

    ... Spent the rest of Wednesday wandering around, checking out the fancy boats in the harbour, watching sunset, and trying to find somewhere cheap to eat! Thursday we spent mostly on the beach and chilling - sorry all of you at home, it's a hard life! Friday morning early flight back to Buenos Aires.

    ---- What we learnt ----
    - Not to follow the Lonely Planet for hostel advice; they are either overcrowded, expensive or both!
    - Punta del Este is not cheap.

    ... intestines, kidneys...and more. We did hit the bars in Montevideo. We had a group of 15 people from our hostel (including Argentines, Spanish, Dutch, English and Aussies). No one heads out till about 2am in Uruguay so it was another late one and we all came home at different times. I managed to get completely lost and started to freak out and started running till I could find some buildings where I could get a taxi back to the hostel. Glen managed to come home ...
