      ... three people on
the ticket counter at Milano Centrale Stazione when there are hundreds of people queuing to buy a ticket or book a seat.

Philosophical thought hurts our head so we decided to just enjoy Milan when we arrived despite the fact that before we could even get to our hotel we had to book our onward seats so we stood in the aforementioned queue at the station for so long that we actually ate out lunch whilst we were ...

The train trip took almost two hours, but it was worth it as the scenery along the way was amazing. We passed through Lauterbrunnen, and saw the impressive Staubbach Falls too. The weather changed quite quickly too, from warm and sunny down below to overcast and quite cold. I was glad I had ...

... that took all of about 15mins to cross the border and through the mountain to reach Brig where I then caught a train to Betten where I then got to Gondolas to reach Bettmeralp at 1950m. A car free village.

What can I say, it is stunning here. Fabulous views of the alps, green mountain sides, cows with giant bells and of course swiss chalets. I am staying in the annexe of one of the hotels as it was half the price if I shared ...
