Hotel Garden Pokhara

... World Peace Stupa (Pagoda) which is on the top of a hill on the other side of the lake to the town. The walk was mostly through woodland where we saw troops of monkeys in the trees (ellie got excited at this). The views from the top were amazing and the pagoda itself was worth the hike. The walk back was a lot easier and less sweaty (was very hot and sunny on the way up).

... of being chased by natives i was just observed by some lazy stray dogs from the other side of the bridge.

One of the guys i met on the bus was from Australia. He was going to Nepal to meet up with his friend who lived there. It was proper interesting to hear stories of how Nepal has changed and he answered loadsa questions we had about Nepal and its culture.

Next thing on the agenda was a visit to Chitwan National Park. It was a 4 hour bus ride away which was pretty ...

We also saw a french family that had just done the circuit (20 days) and were then doing the trek we did (up to 10 days) with a 4 year old and a 10 year old kid. Now that just can't be right. Some of the steps were half the size of the kid, and they couldn't carry him because they had bags too. Can't be good surely ...

By the next day, we were at the trailhead and ready to start this amazing circuit. The Annapurna Circuit is considered to be one of best long hikes in the world. We chose to hike the circuit the common counterclockwise direction as it provides for a better altitude ...
