Two hours in Andorra and sore feet

The good news is that the clutch seems to be fit and well. The van is front-wheel drive and rather back heavy anyway so I think the combination of that and the madly steep hill meant that the tyres just couldn't get any grip. By the way, the storm wasn’t too bad and all the tents were intact the next morning. Now I know I promised no more art stuff and I’m sorry to go back on my word but I’ve just got to mention what has possibly been the highlight of ...

We arrived this afternoon after driving via Toulouse. The drive up the mountains takes two hours and is a combination of winding roads and tunnels a few times all you could see was a mountain 100 metres ahead and no obvious road until you go around a bend. ... up the car, grabbed some snacks for later and headed into the mountains. Was no long before we spotted snow and was most excited. However, this was nothing compared to when we got to the top. It is one of the most breathtaking views, drive and buildings. As much as Andorra is 'small' there are a few 'towns' which can take a bit of navigating and time to get through. But that all adds to the experience. After arriving at ...

    Quaint Charm in Andorra

... and Parliament buildings are located. This area had a very quaint charm, with the traditional stone brick buildings and cobbled streets. Even though this was 2015, you could see that much of this area is exactly how it would have been hundreds of years ago.

After witnessing the old part of the town, I then headed down towards the newer part of the city, which is ...
