... and Sue went for a walk down the beach while the rest of us splashed around in the water. This was undoubtedly one of the kids' favorite activities, and we returned to the beach several times that week. The children made up games to play in the waves, and jumped up and down with water splashing in their faces for hours. Of course, David and I were there keeping a vigilant eye, making sure that none of them got carried out to sea by the rip current.
