        ... way but mostly by the road. This wasn't a problem as there were not many cars around. The river is from a large lake formed by a hydro dam that supplies the majority of the countries water. We wandered into the Outdoor Art Gallery at Lultzehausen, which is six large carved stone sculptures, each unique, set in the woods and fields.

        Matty hung with his dad for the day... and loved it.

        ... They chanted maybe the Angelous, as it was just after twelve, and as has happened before we felt it disrespectful to get up and leave. Perhaps this counted as going to church for the week. Time for lunch and although we only wanted frites for a snack we ended up having pizza( more like flatbread with veggies) for lunch , finishing with a complimentary shot of amaretto served in a teeny cup made of chocolate that we ate as the finale.         ... stop and once we saw people eating some great looking sandwich baguettes we decided that was for us. BBC stood for bacon, Brie and cranberries. It was delicious.

        Back to to the ship in the late afternoon for some reading and more watching the world go by as we turned the ship around and headed downstream, retracing our steps to Koblenz and the Rhine River.

        Tonight's featured entree was sauerbraten with red cabbage and a dumpling-delicious!

        ... and a help to come for desert and hotel room to crash. At 11:00 the Grand Duke had his fireworks celebration. It lasted about 15 minutes and had many many different shapes and colours. The display was very high and large. It was so large that I had trouble fitting it in the viewer of my camera and it was at least two miles away. The sounds were almost deafening but so exciting.         ... had eaten the grapes and was guilty, but if the juice was red, then he was innocent. Medieval thinking – naturally, the juice was red, the goat was proved innocent, but alas, he was killed in the process. To honour his innocence, they have a statue for all to see and honour him.
