... and bread dipped into it! It came out, it looked weird and smelt funny! And the cheese was not a normal cheese but a special cheese from Switzerland! And boy it tasted different! And by different I mean yuck! We forced ourselves to dip all the potatoes in the cheese and after dinner we stopped at a local shop on the way home and bought hot dogs and donuts! Hehe. All of the buildings are built from gray-green stone that is quarried nearby. In the early days of Bern, a fire destroyed most of the city and ever since then, a law was passed that requires every building to be made from stone and not wood – very practical but not aesthetically ...

... as attractive as you might think, and there were plenty of girls on the shore laying out. So no, we did not meet many people during our row boat experience on the lake. But we did pick up a decent tan and a workout.

Switzerland was a beautiful country and we soaked it in with the sight-seeing, lake experience, and we event went on a little hike in the forest there. I’d love to go back and go to the top of Europe. It’s a great country for outdoorsy ...
