Aphrodesius boasts the best preserved stadium in the Greek/Roman world. All of the seats are there and it would have held 30,000 people. The other amazing building was the Sebastinium. This meeting place had three tiers of wall ...

... to take us on a "shortcut" rather than stay on the main roads. We ended up driving through small villages that seemed to 50 years behind. Fields be plowed with an old tractor with grandma walking behind seeding by hand, Goad herders at every bend of the road, hay be cut by groups of women using scythes. It was quite amazing.
