The Four Seasons has worked out well for us. Yeah, the best part is the pool, but the rooms are more than adequate, the staff is nice and the food is decent and easy.

We have been really happy with the hotels we booked. Breakfasts have been good and the rooms comfortable and clean. It's always a bit of a worry booking things online but so far so good.
This morning we were planning on a getting good early start to see Ephesus before lunch and be on our way. Unfortunately Kayla was not feeling well at all with …

Tyrkiet rummer mange geologiske og arkæologiske fænomener og seværdigheder, men det er et meget stort land - lidt større end Frankrig - 80 millioner indbyggere. As recently as the mid-20th century, hotels were built over the ruins of Hierapolis, causing considerable damage. An approach road was built from the valley over the terraces, and motor bikes were allowed to go up and down the slopes. When the area was declared a ...

... to who knew where ( for sure).
Then, around 5am the bus pulled up in front of an Audi dealership and we were told we had arrived.
    Never sure!
Another mini bus ride later we arrived at Pamukkale and were able to get a couple of hours sleep before starting our day.
Refreshed (?) we hopped on a local bus and made our way to the north entrance of Hierapolis. Past the gate and through the ( ...

... it leaves the mountainside bleached white as it dries. We brought our togs as you can pay extra to swim in the antique Roman pool. So here we are bouncing around in a natural bath full of marble relics from the ancient ruins of the City of Hierapolis. It felt like it was good for you but you do have to put up with the crowds and algae floating on top. We keep getting surprised at the fun things you can do in this country.
