The Four Seasons has worked out well for us. Yeah, the best part is the pool, but the rooms are more than adequate, the staff is nice and the food is decent and easy.

We have been really happy with the hotels we booked. Breakfasts have been good and the rooms comfortable and clean. It's always a bit of a worry booking things online but so far so good.
This morning we were planning on a getting good early start to see Ephesus before lunch and be on our way. Unfortunately Kayla was not feeling well at all with …

Pamukkale en fascinerende geologisk formation

Tyrkiet rummer mange geologiske og arkæologiske fænomener og seværdigheder, men det er et meget stort land - lidt større end Frankrig - 80 millioner indbyggere. I had to sit in the weird trailer thing and Zeki got on the back of the bike behind the man. The ride was terrifying, I thought I was going to fall out, but we made it to the top.
At the top of the hill, there is an archaeological site with some ruins, there is also a natural hot spring swimming pool ...

Pamukkale - Cotton castles & travestines

The cotton castles of Pumakkle are amazing.. Natural hot springs in a stunning scenic location. The springs form in Travertines, terraces of carbonate minerals left behind by the
flowing waters. The pictures tell the story. A must for any visit to Turkey!
The ruins of Hiarapolis, ancient Greco-Roman and Byzantine city built above the hot springs are impressive.

Saw the true colours of the Turkish today… As I walked the uphill 4klm trip ...

Portugal to Turkey!

... we landed in Istanbul we were met by the tour rep. We had to wait for a couple of hours incase anyone else arrived but they didn't and eventually we were driven to our hotel, the Novotel so it was very nice! We missed the orientation meeting because we came in later than everyone else but we didn't mind going straight to bed after our long day. The next morning we were on the bus by 7 so alarm went off at 6! Which is only 4am Lisbon time! Two 4am starts in a ...
