The Four Seasons has worked out well for us. Yeah, the best part is the pool, but the rooms are more than adequate, the staff is nice and the food is decent and easy.

We have been really happy with the hotels we booked. Breakfasts have been good and the rooms comfortable and clean. It's always a bit of a worry booking things online but so far so good.
This morning we were planning on a getting good early start to see Ephesus before lunch and be on our way. Unfortunately Kayla was not feeling well at all with …

People can remove shoes and wade through the infinity pools. I think it is a beautiful feature that it should be something to be viewed and not walked on. All the hotels and pensions have natural thermal springs and therefore people can have the mineral water experience. After dinner at ...

... particularly looking forward to seeing this natural wonder of glittering white calcite travertines which descend down the cliff filling with up with water. They were very impressively unusual and we were able to dangle our feet into the warm thermal water they contained. The only way to understand these is to see the photos I took. I hadn't realised that there are the ruins of Hieropolis are next to the travertines and ...

... that had an amazing view of the travertines. We had a huge meal, but after we had finished we went to another place which had a tv so we could watch a world cup match and eat dessert!
I didn't sleep well that night because it was just so hot and the air-con was terrible. We had a nice breakfast on the roof of our hotel which had lots of lovely fresh fruits picked locally. After we had finished breakfast and packed everything up we got the ...

Day trip – easily done in a day. No need to stay overnight. Overnight buses get in early and
leave late so you have all day to wonder the ruins of Hiarapolis and soak in the springs. Start at the north gate and make your way down. It is a 4klm walk from town, but I got picked up as I walked by a local :-).

Dream Cave Hotel - Awesome place. Great host, clean and comfortable and away from the main street noise.
