The Four Seasons has worked out well for us. Yeah, the best part is the pool, but the rooms are more than adequate, the staff is nice and the food is decent and easy.

We have been really happy with the hotels we booked. Breakfasts have been good and the rooms comfortable and clean. It's always a bit of a worry booking things online but so far so good.
This morning we were planning on a getting good early start to see Ephesus before lunch and be on our way. Unfortunately Kayla was not feeling well at all with …

... as almost like terraced rice paddy fields, only white instead of green. As you climb higher, there are a few areas where the pools are filled with the most marvellous blue coloured water. There were 2 crazy Asian girls in their bikinis bathing in one, and many others dangling their feet in the warm stream flowing down the centre!

From the top, we walked around, admiring the white all around us, and the few groups of beautiful pools cluttered together. We found a quieter ...

Heirapolis is a place full of history and religion and it is said that when fully restored it will become the premier archeological site in Turkey. Having explored as much as we had time for here we moved on to Pamakkule which was just down the hill. Pamakkule is a most unique area in the whole of Turkey and I have been led ...

... from water. Why I find this theory particularly interesting is that it talks to our one key commonality with everything around us...our reliance on water (or SU in Turkish) and besides that it nourishes, cleans and helps development us...it is also usually the substance of choice in fairy tales and legends that reveals truths, blurs perceptions and purifies the character at the climax of their journey...like the famed King Arthur and the Lady of the ...

... hills, through paths that aren't paths, into areas we were sure we would be kicked out of, and enjoying the day. I'm surprised we didn't fall into the holes between ruins, or get stuck in a grave. The ruins were rad. So many...the city went on and on. Graves everywhere also. It was the town of Saint Phillip. He was also buried here, and his image was engraved in the stones throughout the city. We found "trails" up over mountains and walked for hours ...
