4 Plages is a local camping affair with lots of French people smoking, drinking (mainly cafe) and talking. We smiled profusely; everyone was very welcoming despite the language barrier.

Today I had to wake up even earlier because I couldn't miss the 8am bus to Metz with everyone! When I got to Porte Désilles there were 2 buses for everyone and I sat next to Vasilisa and we listened to some music on the way to Metz, which was about a 45 minute ride.

When we got there, we had to wait for our host family, but our host family took so long to get there that we eventually decided to take a quick tour around Differdange. We stopped at a local bar to get some drinks. Here in Luxembourg, the legal drinking age is 16 years old. You could ...

The Chateau (if that's how you spell it)

A travel blog entry by wlbaker92 on May 11, 2012

First one at the Chateau and the last to leave. While there I explored where I will be learning for the next six weeks and a little around the city of Differdange. Got some local beer that was soooo good. I also got some gellato (italian ice cream). I also talked to the coordinator and he gave me a cell phone that I got 20 euros of minutes on. As you can tell I was there waiting for my host family for a long time. First one there and last one to ...
