... I decided to take a direct cab. I don't want to be rushing or having to worry about the time, the long cab ride will complete my experience (:

At this moment I'm just thinking about how I see myself there and the hotel.
I really hope the Yotel Hotel is exactly what I am expecting.

I'll write you guys soon, departure from AMS to NWK is 21 days left!

The Via Gladioli was packed and, after getting my medal with a crown on top, I made my way back to Marianne and Rein's. By the time I had had my shower, Tino, Rick and GJ were there, so we made a swift exit back to see Hellen and Ivo, eat fried food and fruit salad in the garden.

After the second break I got to the point where people were patting me on the shoulder and saying 'Je kan het, m'vrouw!' I didn't feel that bad, but I was moving slowly. At 20 miles, I sat and had a good rest, plus some lunch and ibuprofen and it all went a bit better after ...

... an ACTUAL park! Not a college campus, a park! It's a lovely park with beautiful flowers. I wish I knew the name of said park…. After riding my bike through the park for over an hour, I felt slightly dehydrated and very sweaty. I made my way towards the "centrum", parked/locked my bike and found my favorite bookstore. I ordered myself an iced tea, which tasted more like lemon and mint water than tea. Never the less, it was ...

... website wanted us to go through Cologne, Germany to get to Brussels, and didn't recognize the Eindhoven - Maastricht - Liege connection. Basically, it was making me a bit crazy, and we arrived in Eindhoven undecided.
Hanneke found us at the train station (luckily we walked toward the Centrum exit (-: ) and walked us to Bart who was waiting in the car. After loading the suitcase, we decided (although it often feels like I decided, despite being on vacation and ...
