    Brisbane is kind of the Calgary of Australia - it has the money from mining, gets criticized for its lack of culture, is centered on a river, and tends to be ignored by tourists. We were pleasantly surprised by the city through, probably due to the fact that Jeremy's friends Nadine and Jake were wonderful hosts to us. They gave us a tour of the town and introduced us to Aussie Rules Football by taking us to a live game. ...

    ... have been warm outside, but we were both freezing as the aircon was on so cold!

    Went and had our tea of soup and pasta. Ended up incredibly full.
    By this time we were both knackered again, so went back to the room and had showers.
