Once you drive 2 miles out of the center you can see why they say it it like Yangshuo, full of random limestone formations scattered across the landscape. riding around these mountains is beautiful, so many people living right below these mountains, what a view. Arrive a Hoa Lu, on monte sur un des pics ou se trouve une tombe pour admirer la vue. Absolument magnifique!
La journe touche a sa fin et on rentre sur Ninh Binh.

The countryside is rice paddies & limestone karst mountains with sheer cliffs that rise straight up out of the rice fields, houses are built adjoining them & some homes even utilised the adjoining caves where possible. This area is called the "inland Halong Bay ...

The Cuc Phong National Park was awesome! Beautiful scenery, lovely food (and massive portions!) and lots of wildlife!

We started with the Endanged Primate Rescue Centre; it holds many different types of endangered monkeys and all look really well cared for. We were told about the history of the centre and the problems they have/have had with poachers. They're doing some great things there...
