Last day on the road
... meal has been the fried zucchini flowers and incredibly delicious Italian tomatoes. While that meal was wonderful i had heartburn like never before and have since been saying no to some options and sadly, leaving some portions unfinished. Lunch in Assisi was 3 courses plus cheeses and dessert. I managed my intake well but still continued to feel worn out by the immense caloric intake. University begins
... out and had a great party in his honour!
Last Friday I had an Italian test, with which we ended the course. (Don't worry Mummy and Daddy, I passed with 25/30!). After the exam, in true Italian style, we were treated to a free feast of sangia, vino and nibbles including pizza, various hams and cheeses and other delicious Italian treats! I am hoping this is a regular occurrence after an exam!!!

Still alive and kicking
... although it seemed like a ghost town when we arrived, but became extremely busy at around 4 o'clock when it became near-impossible to walk through the streets!
We've been out a few times now, sometimes just for a gelato in the piazza in the evening, sometimes for a drink or two and a few times now for a party which is fun.
