... a turn and climb some more. I am completely sure that someone moved Pontevedra, at least 5 Km away. There were some stunning views along the way. We had our first glimpse of the Ria de Pontevedra, with the Vigo bridge on the background. Underneath the bridge are all the platforms where mussels are grown. IT is late and we are getting up tomorrow really early since the walk will be longer with a smaller mountain about ⅓ of the way through. Enjoy these ...

Its most distinct feature are the hórreos, granaries on short granite pillars covered with a round plate to prevent rats from getting to the level ...

Day 7

A travel blog entry by jonmarg2014

So its mothers day today and because we are in a foursome of 3 mothers we had a "lay" day and took the BUS. From Tui to Redondela and then walked the hour to our hotel Anton at Soutoxusto.
Very different to our beautiful Portugal. Bigger, newer, dirtier and less gardens, although we have not hit the camino yet.
Is it money that changes ...
