The 4 others had just done "the hill" that morning - poor Kuhn - his 18 year old son took videos of him going up, and shared them with all of us. It wasn't pretty, and we all laughed until we cried. The place has been open for 5 months, and Leslie said this was the best time she's had with her guests. She even opened up one of her last bottles of their first year of making wine (which she usually does not do). It was really ...

Left Tamal at 8am and arrived in Ponte de Lima at 6pm. The rough terrain and need for breaks in the shade sure slowed me down. Fitbit shows over 20 miles traveled today. But I made it!! (Sooo happy to see the 1 km sign!). Oh, and a wonderful Portuguese gentleman who stopped from ...

... less so we pushed on. Unfortunately with the heat and the lack of wind the coast line was not visible due to the mist / fog. Such as shame as it would have been nice to farewell Spain with lovely views.

We took up a mooring in Viana do Castelo and swiftly went wandering into town in search of seafood restaurants (which we read about in the Lonely Planet), ...
