... pit, it is just rocks, not a grain of sand in sight. The heat soon takes its toll and we find a nice spot looking out over the view to sit and have a couple of refreshments and think "how bloody good is this."

Refreshed and rehydrated we head off into town to look at the sights of Camogli. The place is packed, streets, beaches, restaurants, everywhere and it all generates a happy atmosphere. We soon work out that they are celebrating a festival of something which involves all ...

... a colour coded towel (we don't want the beach to look uncoordinated), for a deck chair and colour matched umbrella. I reckon this could really add up if you had a family. Our swim was cool and refreshing, but so many stones under foot including the odd orange ones.
