... while to work out where the car rental office is. Oh, of course. It's over the tracks, up the road, behind the security fenced car park. Oh no sorry, that's just the cars. Grab your back packs and bags, turn on your heels and double back to that portable style office you passed halfway and off to the left if you want the actual office! It's too hot! We get there just in time to avoid a huge ...

Ahh this is the South of France that we had hoped for! A clear blue sky with only the occasional white cloud scudding across . We set out , this time intent on a train journey, to Hendaye, a little town on the French /Spanish border for a day at the beach.

Arriving at the station we purchase our tickets in a hurry noting from the information board that, the train to Hendaye will be a platform two NOW! We dash on glad to have caught it and settle down. As the train moves on, ...

A big drive on Saturday to get us to San Sebastian, back in Spain. The trip from Porto to here was 750km and took about 7 hours. So we have now done more than 12,000km in the Blue Meanie.

On route Kate lost a wiggly tooth! So last night the Spanish Tooth Fairy delivered €1.50 – so all good!

San Sebastian is all about the beaches, and they ...

My other big outing was for a haircut. The girl cutting my hair spoke absolutely zero English. Was done via a photo of me with shorter hair. All good and cost €27

We went for a short drive to the other side of the river to Hedaye and saw a procession of a trendy new(?) French cars...2CVs. Hahahaha. ...
