A Hundred Places in 36 Hours
... ve decided that the Alps are one of the prettiest landscapes in the world, especially when dusted with snow and you can see little towns below the mountains.... We ended our trip with Scheidegg, Germany which is a pretty little town with nice cafes and rolling hills and looks very old European. After picking a really nice cafe with antique china and eating good coffee and cake we left the Bodensee and Alps behind and traveled back to Winnenden.

Our last day of riding
... relief. This was the last few kilometers on our bikes. We were extra cautious as we turned into Michael’s driveway and safely parked our bikes in his garage – our riding adventure was over.
Michael and Elke met us just as we were walking inside and both gave us a huge hug, they were happy we had arrived safely. They then told us to quickly have a shower and jump in the spa, which we did without being told twice.

Davos
... a run. It was a beautiful day out and the valley with its autumn colours was especially pretty. We got back in time to have a pancake breakfast cooked by Allison which was very tasty. We were all going to go for a hike that morning so we marched off towards town and the lift that would take us up one of the local mountains.
