      ... visited the Lyceum. Built in 1765, the Bishop had sought agreement from the Hapsburg Emperor Joseph II to build a University, but it was declined. So he went ahead and built the Lyceum and today it houses one of the finest teacher training colleges in the country. The building houses a beautiful library containing over 60,000 books and priceless manuscripts.

      ... a Unesco World Heritage site because of its unique grasslands landscape and cultural heritage, and Galya Teto, the highest point in Hungary... all with my dad as tour director.       ... Africa without any qualms, but a 40 metre minaret gave me the quivers!! It also gave the both of us very sore leg muscles for the following week or so! We've climbed far more stairs, but none quite so narrow and probably not in such a tense state!!
