... He made a point of telling us that if we needed anything for the duration of our time to come and find him there and he would help us out. We enjoyed a delicious cheese and ham plate and a few glasses of wine for us and coffee for Jenny ( her new favorite drink). We also enjoyed a nice chat with a couple who was seated at the bar. He was an American, she was Polish but lives part time in Barcelona. She is a photographer, who uses a camera straight out of the middle ...

... of a united Spain. I wish we could share the chanting and singing and speeches that accompanied the parade down the Passeig de Gracia. It was really inspiring to see the strong patriotic feelings of the Spanish people marching to show their solidarity with their homeland. Apparently, a significant number of Catalonians wish to remain united with Spain. It will be interesting to see what happens politically.

... is all they ordered. When leaving and entering you had to hold the shoulder of the person in front of you and March in single file out following the leader as there is not a scenic of light- ben grabbed ken of the girls arms so she lost her friends and couldn't find her way out lol very funny. It's proven to be difficult traveling alone as a female. I've met some great guys, and I've met some terrible ones. I've been expected to go home with countless men, or gotten made fun of all night when I would cut myself off from alcohol. I've been told my dress wasn't tight enough and have been touched by strangers in more places than I'm ...

... Barcelona is one of those places that is busy in the day but really comes alive at night. On my way back to the hostel I heard drums and decided to follow the sound, and ended up finding a lively drumming show in a tiny square. It was brilliant! When I had walked so much that my legs and feet felt like they would drop off, I relaxed on the beach in the sun. Barcelona is a very cool place with so much to see, one weekend just wasn't enought!
