... hitting the tourists. We arrive at our hotel and our adorable porter, Marco, checks us in and shows us how to work the actual turn of the century lift...up to our room. We snack on gorgeous cheese and prosciutto Cliffy and Sandy have gracious provided for us...then we are off to see the city. What a city it is! ... li>While in Weisbaden we visited the casino, the cathedral, the shopping avenues and just walked through the main section and out through the park.
... headed down to the main shopping area for lunch, before returning home.
Saturday (today) we went with Erika to the oldest coffee shop in Wiesbaden, a beautifully decorated old shop with a great atmosphere. Despite the opulent looks, the coffee was very reasonably price, less than in Australia.
After looking at the Markets and sending this blog, we will be catching up with Hilde and her son, Jurgen, and the family, in the afternoon
... didn't do too well; Charlie tried to tell Andrew about a star wars computer game, but Andrew didn't know what to say as the only word he had understood was 'Andrew'.
By 9:30pm we said our goodbyes and went back to Erika's and Manfred's house. We slept well.
